Who are we?
Liontown Resources (ASX: LTR) is an ASX listed company with a focus on battery minerals. We aim to be an ESG leader in the resources sector and a globally significant provider of battery minerals for the rapidly growing clean energy market. We will do this by finding, developing and supplying the battery minerals required by the rapidly growing electric vehicle and energy storage industries.
We control two major lithium deposits in Western Australia and have ambition to grow our portfolio through downstream expansion and exploration acquisitions.
Our Kathleen Valley Lithium Project in Western Australia is a Tier 1 battery metals asset with excellent grade and scale. It is one of the largest and highest-grade hard rock lithium deposits in the world and is at the forefront of our vision to support the world’s transition to a low-carbon future. It is one of the few lithium projects globally in construction today with first production achieved in mid 2024 of schedule.
About the role
Looking to return to work or fit a professional role into school hours? We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Document Controller who wants part-time work with genuine flexibility. Whether you're a returning parent, balancing other part-time commitments, or simply looking to scale back, this role offers a supportive and flexible work environment.
As our stand-alone Document Controller, you’ll take ownership of document control across our business, with a focus on our Operations and Safety teams – ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across our business. With our systems and processes recently established, your expertise will help us maintain and improve our document management practices as we grow.
- 12 Month Max Term Part-time opportunity (~15 hours per week) with flexible arrangements: choose two full days or spread the hours across shorter school-hour days
- Based in West Perth, with occasional travel to our Kathleen Valley lithium site, this will be very adhoc and work with in your ability to travel, day trips if required.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the end-to-end document control process for operational and safety documentation
- Format and finalise documents primarily using Microsoft Word – including advanced features like Quick Parts, templates, and styles, where needed
- Apply strong document control principles, including file naming conventions, metadata management, version and revision control
- Ensure document accuracy and consistency, understanding not just the formatting but also the purpose of technical and procedural documents
- Maintain our established document control systems in SharePoint, ensuring information is logically structured, accessible, and up-to-date
- Monitor document workflows, track approvals, and ensure version/revision integrity across all controlled documents
- Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance processes as our business continues to mature – your input will be welcomed in shaping the way we work
- Support internal stakeholders across multiple teams to ensure document control practices are understood and followed
- Manage templates
- Provide ad-hoc support with policy, procedure and other document development as required
What We’re Looking For
- Solid understanding of document control concepts – you know your revisions from versions
- Strong Microsoft Word skills, including Quick Parts and formatting
- Experience using SharePoint for document management (highly desirable)
- Ability to work independently in a growing, evolving business
- Prior experience in the resources industry is a bonus, but not essential
- A flexible, proactive, and collaborative attitude
- Current (or ability to obtain) National Police Clearance.
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
If you don’t tick every box but have a strong grounding in document control principles, a good eye for detail, and a proactive mindset – we encourage you to apply. It’s not about how many years you’ve done it, but how well you understand it and your approach to getting things done.
