About the role

Liontown Resources is seeking applications for an Experienced Process Operator to join our Plant Production team at Kathleen Valley. This will be a site-based permanent opportunity working an 8/6:7/7 rotating FIFO roster from Perth and staying in our dragonfly village. 

Reporting to the Processing Supervisor, you will be responsible for operating the processing plant to achieve or exceed production targets in a safe, sustainable and cost-effective manner.

• Operate plant and equipment within specified parameters without compromising the integrity of the plant, equipment, and continuity of operations.
• Execute tasks as directed by the Process Shift Supervisor that may include daily production plan requirements, housekeeping and general operations and supporting tasks.
• Complete all assigned logs and documentation every shift.
• Demonstrate personal safety commitment and actively support Liontown’s high standard safety culture.
• Assist in the development and continual improvement of safe work procedures.
• Be proactive in identifying and reporting potential hazards and eliminating risk taking actions.

About the processing department

Our lithium and tantalum processing facility design, the world’s largest of its kind, incorporates a wide range of different processing technologies. The process equipment has been selected from the most modern designs available in the market. Our plant is designed for maintainability and operability from the start.

About you

• Minimum 7-10 years experience working as a Process Operator, base metals experience is a must.
• Significant Flotation circuit & control room experience
• Confined space and working at heights tickets desirable.
• Mobile plant experience desired but not essential – Bobcat, EWP, IT Loader, Tele Handler
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
• Have obtained a National Police Clearance within the last 6 months or can obtain one.
• Able to pass a Pre-Employment medical and Drug and Alcohol screen.
