Liontown Limited is an independent, ASX listed company and the 100% owner and operator of the tier-one Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation in Western Australia's northern Goldfields, approximately 700 km north-east of Perth. With a 20+-year mine life, state-of-the-art processing facilities, and a passionate team, we are set to become one of the world's largest and most sustainable hard rock lithium operations.

 

The opportunity

 

Liontown is planning to grow its team at the Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation and anticipates recruiting graduates across Mining Engineering, Mine Surveying, Geotechnical Engineering and Geology for FY2027. This Expression of Interest (EOI) is your chance to register your details ahead of a formal recruitment process. Submitting an EOI does not guarantee an offer of employment, but will place you in consideration when roles are confirmed.

 

Graduate roles, if confirmed, are anticipated to be full-time positions based on site at Kathleen Valley on an 8:6 roster, flying in and out of Perth.

 

What Graduates Can Expect to Be Doing

 

  • Apply your discipline knowledge in a real operational environment, supporting experienced technical teams across mining engineering, surveying, geotechnical or geology functions.
  • Gain hands-on exposure to modern technologies and methods used at a world-class lithium operation, with access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.
  • Contribute to technical reporting, data collection and analysis, and support the delivery of operational and planning outcomes relevant to your discipline.
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, developing your professional network and building a foundation for a long-term career in the resources sector.
  • Participate in structured mentoring and development activities, with guidance from experienced professionals in your field.

 

What We're Looking For

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree (recently completed or near completion) in Mining Engineering, Mine Surveying, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or a closely related field.
  • Some familiarity with tools, instruments or software relevant to your discipline, whether gained through study, internships, or coursework.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary mining team.
  • Prior site experience or internships in a mining environment will be highly regarded, though not essential.
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.
