It is one of the few lithium projects globally in construction today, with first production achieved in mid-2024 of schedule.
About the role
We’re seeking a Geological Database Administrator to join our team at Kathleen Valley. This permanent site-based role is offered on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.
You’ll play a key role in supporting both our open pit operation, which is scheduled for completion in early 2026, and our underground mine, which has recently entered production. As part of our site-based geology team, you’ll manage and maintain the geological databases that underpin our resource development, production, and compliance reporting.
What you’ll be doing:
- Administer and maintain geological databases for drilling, sampling, assays, lithology, and related datasets
- Support geologists by ensuring data integrity, QA/QC processes, and timely data delivery
- Manage geological database platforms and troubleshoot system issues
- Liaise with field teams to streamline data flows from site to system
- Generate reports and support resource estimation, compliance reporting, and exploration programs
- Ensure best-practice data security, backups, and user access control
- Provide training and support to geology and technical users as needed
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in geological data management, ideally in a mining or exploration environment
- Strong working knowledge of acQuire or similar geological database software (Geobank, Datashed, etc.)
- Understanding of geological logging, sampling, and drilling data
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to work FIFO on an 8/6 roster from Perth
- Current (or ability to obtain) National Police Clearance.
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
