Join a world-class lithium project in full production ramp-up.

Kathleen Valley is forging ahead — and we're building the team to match.

As we establish ourselves as an employer of choice in the resources sector, Liontown Limited is expanding our site leadership team and looking for an experienced HR Superintendent to embed with our operational leaders and drive people outcomes on the ground. This is your chance to help develop capable, empowered leaders who build strong, engaged teams at a world-class lithium operation.

This is a full-time, permanent site-based role at our Kathleen Valley operation, on a 4:3, 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth. You'll stay in our modern Dragonfly Village, just minutes from site, with excellent onsite amenities.

Why now?

At Liontown, we believe great operations are built on great people and strong leadership. As we transition into sustained operations, we're focused on developing leaders who are equipped, confident, and capable of building high-performing teams. Backed by our recent capital raise and commitment to long-term success, we're investing in a workplace culture that attracts and retains the best talent in the industry. This is a pivotal time to join — our focus is clear: building capable leaders and a thriving culture at Kathleen Valley — and this is your chance to help shape it.

Reporting to the HR Advisory Manager, you'll:

  • Be the on-site HR expert — embedded with operational leaders, providing real-time advice on employee relations, performance management, and compliance matters
  • Drive engagement and retention — oversee and manage engagement and recognition programs, and development initiatives that strengthen our culture and keep our best people
  • Coach and build leadership capability — mentor and support site leaders through coaching, providing practical HR solutions, and guidance on managing and developing their teams effectively
  • Manage end-to-end ER cases — lead investigations, disciplinary processes, and change consultations in line with Fair Work obligations, ensuring procedural fairness and consistent outcomes
  • Provide HR governance and oversight — ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policy, and accurate application of remuneration, leave, and employment conditions
  • Develop your team — coach and build the capability of the HR site team
  • Partner across functions — collaborate seamlessly with our Perth-based HR team to ensure consistent, high-quality HR service delivery across the business

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related discipline
  • Significant demonstrated experience (6-8 years) in HR generalist or advisory roles, preferably within mining, resources, or similar operational environments
  • Proven expertise managing complex ER/IR matters — you've confidently handled investigations, disputes, disciplinary processes, and Fair Work compliance
  • Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships with operational leaders at all levels
  • The ability to work autonomously on site while collaborating effectively with broader HR and business teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach — you balance compliance with commercial reality and thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Have obtained a National Police Clearance within the last 6 months or have the ability to obtain one
  • Able to pass a Pre-Employment medical and Drug and Alcohol screen
