About the Role

 

Liontown Resources is seeking applications for a Mechanical Fitter to join our Plant Maintenance team at Kathleen Valley. This will be a site-based permanent opportunity working an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth and staying in our dragonfly village. 

 

Reporting to our Mechanical Maintenance Supervisors, you will play a pivotal role in the planned and unplanned maintenance activities in our newly built lithium processing plant.

 

  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on fixed plant and site infrastructure.
  • Provide advanced diagnostics and fault finding on various equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with maintenance management for effective work planning and scheduling.
  • Uphold high standards of safety, housekeeping, and waste minimization.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of maintenance teams.

 

About You

 

  • Mechanical trade certification.
  • Minimum five years of experience in fixed plant maintenance, covering a range of equipment.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical documentation and manuals.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and initiative in work practices.
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
