About the role 

 

Liontown is seeking applications for Underground Mine Surveyors to join our growing underground mining team. This will be a full time, site based permanent opportunity working an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth and staying in our modern Dragonfly Village.   

 

Reporting to the Superintendent Mine Surveying, you will be responsible for performing all surveys, calculations and reporting activities to provide accurate and timely survey data essential to safe and efficient underground mining operations. 

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join our mining department as we continue through full-production ramp-up. We have a world-class underground operation with a 23 year mine life mining at 4Mtpa.  

 

About you 

 

  • Tertiary level qualifications in surveying or comparable experience. 

  • Grade 1 or 2 Authorised Mine Surveyors Certificate (desirable). 

  • C Class manual licence. 

  • Experience using surveying equipment (GNSS, RPAS, Total Stations, Laser Scanners, etc).  

  • Experience using mine planning software (Deswik, Vulcan, Surpac, etc). 

  • Knowledge of mining practices, safety regulations, and environmental standards in Australia. 

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced operational environment. 

  • Proficiency in using mining software and other relevant tools for production planning and analysis. 

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and continuous improvement.  

  • Have obtained a National Police Clearance within the last 6 months or can obtain one.  

  • Able to pass a Pre-Employment medical and Drug and Alcohol screen.
