About the role

As an Experienced Process Operator, you’ll be a key part of the Plant Production team at Kathleen Valley, working on an 8/6:7/7 FIFO roster from Perth and staying in our premium Dragonfly Village accommodation.

In this permanent, site-based role, you’ll be responsible for operating and optimising key components of our processing plant, including Crushing, Grinding, Flotation, Filtration, and Control Room Operations (CRO). You’ll work to ensure we meet or exceed production targets safely and sustainably.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate plant equipment within safe and defined parameters, including CRO, crushing, grinding, flotation, and filtration circuits.
• Execute shift plans as directed by the Process Supervisor, including general operations, housekeeping, and troubleshooting.
• Accurately complete shift logs and documentation.
• Uphold and model Liontown’s strong safety culture.
• Participate in ongoing safety and process improvement initiatives.

About the processing department

Our plant is one of the most advanced lithium and tantalum facilities globally, with the largest capacity of its kind. Designed for performance and reliability from day one, it includes the latest innovations in processing technology.

About you:

• Minimum 7–10 years’ experience as a Process Operator in base metals, lithium, or similar industries.
• A strong background in hands-on operation of Crushing, Grinding, Flotation, Filtration, and Control Systems is essential.
• Experience in paste plant operations and magnetic separation is highly desirable.
• Confined space and working at heights tickets (preferred).
• Mobile plant experience (desirable but not essential) – Bobcat, EWP, IT Loader, Telehandler.
• Committed to safety, clear communication, and working as part of a team.
• Able to obtain/hold a valid National Police Clearance (within the last 6 months).
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
