About the Role
Liontown Resources is seeking applications for a Refrigeration Technician to join our NPI Maintenance team at Kathleen Valley. This will be a site-based permanent opportunity working an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth and staying in our dragonfly village.
Reporting to our NPI Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of refrigeration and air conditioning systems across our operations.
- Install, repair, and maintain refrigeration and air conditioning systems across the village and site.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in refrigeration systems, implementing effective solutions.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and maintenance activities.
- Generate reports on equipment status and upcoming maintenance needs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations during installation and maintenance activities.
- Minimise environmental impact through proper refrigerant handling.
About You
- Minimum of 3 years as a Refrigeration Technician, preferably in an industrial or mining setting.
- Experience with industrial-sized refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Trade qualification or certification in refrigeration and air conditioning.
- Relevant licenses and certifications for handling refrigerants.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to refrigeration work.
- Effective communication and collaboration with maintenance teams and other stakeholders.
- Have obtained a National Police Clearance within the last 12 months or have the ability to obtain one.
- Able to pass a Pre-Employment medical and Drug and Alcohol screen.
