Senior Project Metallurgist

Join Liontown, an ASX listed responsible battery minerals provider, at an exciting stage of growth. Following our successful capital raise, we are well funded and in full production ramp up at our world-class Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation. With plant optimisation front of mind, we are looking for a Senior Project Metallurgist to take the reins on a diverse range of site-based improvement initiatives.

Our focus is plant optimisation and operational excellence. As a Senior Project Metallurgist, you'll play a crucial role in implementing projects that drive efficiency, reliability, and recovery in one of Australia's most exciting Lithium Operations.

This is a permanent, full-time role based at Kathleen Valley on an 8:6 roster from Perth.

What you'll be doing

• Review and improve the efficiency of installed plant equipment.
• Design and implement small capital upgrade projects
• Develop and commission process control strategies to optimize plant performance

What we're looking for

• Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

• Hands-on experience with operational projects in mineral processing plants, including flotation plants.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ramp-up environment and work back-to-back in a project delivery team.
• Have obtained a National Police Clearance within the last 6 months or can obtain one.
• Able to pass a Pre-Employment medical and Drug and Alcohol screen.
