About the role
Liontown Resources is entering an exciting new chapter as we strengthen our Maintenance leadership team at our world-class Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation. We’re currently seeking an experienced and motivated Shutdown Coordinator to join our Maintenance team. This is a permanent FIFO opportunity on an 8/6 roster from Perth.
As Shutdown Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in planning and executing scheduled shutdowns for our fixed plant operations. This is a dedicated coordination role—separate from day-to-day maintenance—and focused solely on ensuring shutdowns are delivered safely, efficiently, and within budget.
You’ll work closely with planners, supervisors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure everything from scope development through to execution runs smoothly. This role operates back-to-back with another Shutdown Coordinator, requiring strong communication and a commitment to detailed handovers and continuity of work.
- Develop shutdown scopes and work packs in collaboration with planners and maintenance teams.
- Coordinate procurement, scheduling, and staging of shutdown resources.
- Liaise with internal teams and external contractors to ensure seamless execution of shutdown activities.
- Oversee shutdown execution, ensuring quality, safety, and timeframes are met.
About You
- Previous experience coordinating or supporting shutdowns in a fixed plant maintenance environment.
- Strong knowledge of fixed plant equipment and shutdown practices.
- Proficiency in CMMS systems (e.g. SAP) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- A proactive, team-oriented approach and willingness to go the extra mile.
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screen, and hold/obtain a National Police Clearance.
