About the role
Liontown Resources is seeking an experienced Site Services Superintendent to join our team at Kathleen Valley on a 4/3 FIFO roster from Perth. This position is responsible for leading and managing the Site Services Coordinators, ensuring the effective execution of day-to-day operations within the site services team.
Reporting to the General Manager Kathleen Valley, you will oversee all aspects of site and people logistics, contractor management, and village services. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations for transportation, accommodation, and contractor services while maintaining a strong focus on safety and employee well-being.
Key responsibilities include
Site Access & Travel Logistics:
- Oversee workforce travel, including flights, bus schedules, and accommodation.
- Optimise transport scheduling for aviation and bus services.
- Accountable for camp operational management and services alongside ensuring efficient village operations.
Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead and mentor the Site Services Coordinators to foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to enhance team skills and performance.
- Oversee the effective execution of day-to-day operations within the site services team.
Contractor Coordination:
- Oversee contractor compliance for village services, cleaning, waste management, and aviation.
- Conduct safety observations and promote a health-and-safety-first culture.
- Participate in operational performance routines and action follow-ups.
Data Management & Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain operational performance reports.
- Ensure accurate data maintenance for logistical operations.
Financial Oversight:
- Manage purchase requisitions and service entries.
Continuous Improvement:
- Implement and standardise processes, procedures, and work instructions.
- Foster an enabling and solutions-driven culture across site services.
About you
- Strong background in managing people logistics and contractor operations in remote or FIFO settings.
- Proven experience in people logistics, village management, and contractor management.
- A motivated leader capable of mentoring and training both internal staff and contractors.
- Effective communicator with experience liaising with flight partners and managing aerodrome access.
- Familiarity with systems such as INX InFlight, SAM, and SAP.
- Attention to detail and a solutions-driven mindset.
- Able to pass a Pre-Employment medical, National Police Clearance, and Drug and Alcohol screen.
