Why Liontown
Our purpose is to find and develop the lithium and other mineral deposits required to support the transition to a low-carbon future. The minerals we produce are a critical input to the electric vehicle and energy storage industries driving that transition.
We aim to be a globally significant ESG leader and provider of battery minerals for the clean energy market, and we partner with customers and suppliers who can demonstrate strong ESG credentials. At Kathleen Valley, a significant share of our energy needs is supplied through our partnership with Zenith Energy, via one of the largest off-grid wind-solar-battery hybrid power stations built for a mining project in Australia.
As the world transitions to a low-carbon future, we aim to be part of the solution, not the problem.
