About the role

 

Liontown Resources is seeking applications for a Water Maintenance Supervisor to join our Non-Process Infrastructure team. This is a permanent opportunity based at our Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation, working an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.

 

As the Water Maintenance Supervisor you will oversee the operation and maintenance of water supply and wastewater infrastructure on-site. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of the raw water supply systems at Kathleen Valley. This position will suit an experienced leader with a strong background in water utilities management within the mining or heavy industry sector.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of the raw water distribution infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant environmental and health regulations, including water quality standards.
  • Manage and supervise contractors performing maintenance, inspections, and upgrades.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for water and wastewater systems.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs as needed.
  • Maintain records, reports, and compliance documentation in line with regulatory and site requirements.
  • Support the commissioning of new water infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with site teams to ensure efficient water usage and sustainability practices.

 

About you

 

  • Experience in water utilities operations, preferably within the mining or industrial sector.
  • Strong understanding of water treatment, distribution, and wastewater processes.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and environmental compliance for water utilities.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience, with the ability to manage contractors and maintenance teams.
  • Relevant trade qualification or certification in water operations, plumbing, or a related field (desirable).
  • Have obtained a National Police Clearance within the last 6 months or have the ability to obtain one.
  • Able to pass a Pre-Employment medical and Drug and Alcohol screen.
