About the role
Liontown is seeking applications for a Water Maintenance Supervisor to join our Non-Process Infrastructure team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based at our Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation, working an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.
As the Water Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the operation and maintenance of the raw water supply network and infrastructure on-site. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable and efficient supply of raw water and associated systems at Kathleen Valley. This position will suit an experienced leader with a strong background in water management including but not limited to bore optimization in relation to flow and ground water levels, ability to read telemetry systems, input data, review & report to management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of raw water distribution and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with relevant environmental and health regulations, including water quality standards.
- Manage and supervise contractors performing maintenance, inspections, and upgrades.
- Assist in Development and implement preventative maintenance schedules for raw water network.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Maintain records, reports, and compliance documentation in line with regulatory and site requirements.
- Support the commissioning of new water infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with site teams to ensure efficient water usage and sustainability practices.
- Demonstrate personal and professional leadership by meeting all Liontown’s safety policy and procedure requirements.
About you
- Experience in water supply operations, preferably within the mining or industrial sector.
- Strong understanding of water management, distribution, and telemetry systems.
- Strong knowledge of borefield operations including but not limited to bore installations and equipment.
- Knowledge of regulatory and environmental compliance for water utilities.
- Supervisory or leadership experience (Section 26) qualified, the ability to manage contractors and maintenance teams.
- Relevant trade qualification or certification in water operations, electrical, plumbing, or a related field (desirable) HR, CV, CN, DG qualified.
- Have obtained a National Police Clearance within the last 6 months or the ability to obtain one.
- Able to pass a Pre-Employment medical and Drug and Alcohol screen.
