Why now?

As part of this growth, we’re looking for two experienced Category Specialists to join our Commercial team. These new roles are pivotal in supporting the safe and efficient delivery of our mining operations – one focused on our process plant, and the other on our underground mining operations.

The Opportunities

You’ll report to our Supply Manager and work within a close-knit team of five contracts and procurement professionals. It’s a team that values collaboration, professionalism, and delivering results that directly impact the success of our operations.

These positions have been created as part of our operations ramp-up. Each Category Specialist will play a key role in managing medium to high value contracts (typically $8–10M) across our supply base, ensuring value, compliance, and performance. You’ll support the delivery of business-critical contracts already in place while also contributing to upcoming tenders, supplier management, and contract administration.

Unlike broader commercial lead roles that lean toward long-term strategy, these positions are hands-on, embedded in our operations and focused on ensuring the contracts and suppliers that underpin production run smoothly.

What you’ll do

• Manage and administer contracts that support Liontown’s processing and mining operations.
• Support tendering, sourcing, and supplier management for medium–high value contracts.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and operational requirements.
• Work closely with site stakeholders to align supplier performance with operational needs.
• Contribute to ongoing reviews to optimise contract delivery and value.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years’ experience in contracts/procurement within the WA mining sector.
• Proven experience with medium to high value contracts ($8–10M+).
• Background supporting process plants/beneficiation (for the plant-focused role) or underground mining operations (for the mining-focused role).
• Degree in finance, law, engineering, or a related field (desirable but not essential).
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
• Have obtained a National Police Clearance within the last 6 months or have the ability to obtain one.
• Able to pass a Pre-Employment medical and Drug and Alcohol screen.
