About the role

The Procurement Administrator plays a pivotal role in supporting procurement operations within Liontown. This position ensures the efficient acquisition of goods and services by coordinating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to liaise with internal stakeholders and vendors. 

 

  • Procurement Operations:
    • Expedite overdue and becoming due supplier orders in SAP – liaising with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of goods
    • Assist in the preparation, issuance, and tracking of purchase orders.
    • Monitor procurement activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supplier Management:
    • Supplier engagement including but not limited to pre-qualification and onboarding activities
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records and contact details.
    • Manage SharePoint filing for procurement, sourcing, and commercial documentation
    • Assist in supplier conformance and performance monitoring.
    • Resolve supplier-related issues, including discrepancies in orders, invoices, or deliveries.
  • Data and Reporting:
    • Manage procurement records and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.
    • Generate regular reports on procurement activities concerning overdue and becoming due purchase orders
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill procurement needs.
    • Provide administrative support for procurement-related meetings and initiatives.

 

About you

  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or administrative roles, preferably within the mining or resources sector.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement practices, policies, and systems.
  • Proficiency in procurement software (SAP), or experience using other major ERP systems such as Oracle or Pronto.
  • Experienced and confident in the use of MS Office products, particularly Excel, SharePoint, and Word
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse teams and external suppliers.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • High level of accuracy and efficiency in data entry and reporting.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
