About the role

 

Liontown Resources is inviting applications from Project Engineers interested in joining us at our world-class Kathleen Valley lithium operation on a FIFO 8:6 roster out of Perth.

 

Reporting to the Project Manager – Sustaining Capital, you will be an integral part of our Sustaining Capital team, managing and delivering brownfield process and non-process infrastructure projects.

 

Key responsibilities include

  • Deliver capital projects ranging from $100k to $1M, with timeframes between 2 and 12 months.
  • Oversee up to 4-7 projects simultaneously, driving them from study and design phases through to construction and close-out.
  • Prepare project deliverables such as datasheets, Scope of Works, work packs, and QA/QC documentation.
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors to ensure safe and compliant project execution.
  • Collaborate closely with Maintenance and Production teams to align project outcomes with operational needs.
  • Manage warranty claims and support project rectification works.

About you

 

  • A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a related discipline).
  • Proven experience in delivering brownfield capital projects in mining or heavy industry.
  • Strong project management skills, including scope, cost, and schedule control.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across diverse teams.
  • A proactive and safety-first mindset with attention to quality and compliance.
  • Able to pass a Pre-Employment medical, National Police Clearance, and Drug and Alcohol screen.
