About Us
Liontown Resources is an emerging leader in Australia’s battery minerals sector. Following our recent capital raise, we are in a strong position as we transition into full production ramp-up at our flagship Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation. With a 20+-year mine life, state-of-the-art processing facilities, and a passionate team, this is a rare opportunity to join a business that is building a globally significant lithium operation.
Why now?
As Liontown transitions into steady-state production, so too does the focus within our recruitment function. We’re now entering an exciting phase of optimisation — building stronger systems, scalable processes, and forward-thinking sourcing strategies.
This role offers the opportunity to be part of a small, agile, and high-performing in-house recruitment team, working across a broad range of disciplines and directly alongside senior leaders. In addition to end-to-end recruitment, the Recruitment Advisor will play a key role in shaping the next phase of our talent acquisition model — including the enhancement of our SuccessFactors ATS, the development of strong talent pools, and strategic sourcing for future growth opportunities beyond Kathleen Valley.
It’s a grow-as-we-grow opportunity — ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys variety, and wants to contribute to building the next evolution of a mining success story.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead, you’ll partner closely with leaders across the business to:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for a diverse portfolio of roles across mine operations, maintenance, process, site services, and corporate functions.
- Develop sourcing strategies, talent pipelines, and proactive campaigns to attract high-quality candidates.
- Provide trusted guidance and market insights to leaders on suitability, candidate fit, and recruitment best practice.
- Support optimisation of our SuccessFactors Applicant Tracking System.
- Collaborate with the Mobilisation Coordinator and broader HR team to ensure a seamless recruitment and onboarding experience.
- Contribute to shaping Liontown’s long-term workforce planning and talent attraction initiatives.
What you’ll be doing
- 3+ years’ recruitment experience, ideally within the mining sector (either contractor or owner-operator).
- An understanding of — underground mine operations, process plant, fixed plant maintenance, and related disciplines will be advantageous.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with hiring leaders and influence recruitment outcomes.
- Experience developing creative sourcing campaigns and utilising platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Previous exposure to SuccessFactors or similar ATS platforms (advantageous, not essential).
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a desire to be part of a collaborative, growing team.
- Have obtained a National Police Clearance within the last 6 months or have the ability to obtain one.
